Netflix have unveiled the trailer for The Perfect Couple, the highly-anticipated series which stars Nicole Kidman, Eve Hewson, Jack Reynor, Liev Schreiber, Meghann Fahy and Dakota Fanning.
The trailer comes just days before the global premiere on Netflix on 5 September. Check it out below.
Directed by Susanne Bier and based on the book by Elin Hilderbrand, the star-studded Netflix series sees Amelia (Hewson) preparing to marry into the wealthy Nantucket Winbury family, to the disapproval of their matriarch and novelist Greer (Kidman).
Amidst the excitement, however, things go sideways when a dead body turns up on the beach, making everyone a suspect as no one, seemingly, is telling the local police the whole truth.
Ahead of the wide release, the stars of The Perfect Couple attended a red carpet premiere last night, which was followed by an exclusive Q&A with cast members hosted by journalist and presenter Josh Smith.

Describing how she came to the role, Aussie film starlet Nicole Kidman said: “Susanne called me and said I have something great you need to read and you have to do. When she says that, you go okay!”
Jack Reynor - of Midsommar, What Richard Did and more - deemed it a highly collaborative experience when describing the filming of The Perfect Couple, saying: "We spent a lot of time together hanging out at each other's houses, and just on the narrative of getting to spend the time together that we did, you get to drop your guards and your barriers, and you know where the edges are with one another."
"Knowing where those edges were gave us an opportunity to push each other a little bit and be more experimental, to try things out and to know that we would be safe to do that with one another was a very collaborative spirit,” he continued.

Bad Sisters alum Eve Hewson chimed in with praise for director Susanne Bier, while talking about her experience working with female directors: "My whole life in film has been mainly directed by women," she said. "My first director was a woman, it's totally normal for me. It’s actually kind of weird when I’m directed by a man. So I’ve been so lucky that I’ve started out in a period that this isn’t unique in any way."
"I got really, really seduced by the possibility of doing something funny and light but still with a dark undercurrent," Susanne Bier added. "Everyone in the cast had a very particular and very precise point of view and allowed themselves to completely balance being a facade and being incredibly vulnerable. In that space there is weirdly a ton of humour."
