The highly anticipated TV adaptation of Sally Rooney's novel premieres next month.
Ahead of the premiere of Conversations with Friends on May 15, the official trailer for the series has been released – featuring 'Sidelines', a brand new song from Phoebe Bridgers.
It's the first new original song from the American singer-songwriter – who plays a sold-out show at Fairview Park in Dublin on June 20 – since the release of her acclaimed album Punisher in 2020. The song will be officially released this Friday, April 15.
As well as featuring plenty of familiar Dublin landmarks, the trailer stars Alison Oliver (Frances), Sasha Lane (Bobbi), Joe Alwyn (Nick) and Jemima Kirke (Melissa). There's also an appearance from Irish singer-songwriter Loah, aka Sallay Garnett.
Directed by Lenny Abrahamson and Leanne Welham, and produced by Element Pictures, the series is an adaptation of Sally Rooney's debut novel of the same name, and will be available on Hulu, BBC Three and RTÉ.
