The trailer for Jennifer Lopez's forthcoming Netflix documentary Halftime has been shared ahead of its debut at the Tribeca Film Festival on June 8.
The film will land on Netflix less than a week later on June 14.
In the trailer, she explains how she always found it difficult to be taken seriously in Hollywood.
"It was hard. I just had very low self-esteem. I had to really figure out who I was and believe in that, and not believe in anything else," she explained.
Her fiancee, Ben Affleck, then said in the trailer: “I said to her once, ‘Doesn’t this bother you?’ And she said, ‘I expected this.’”
The documentary is said to act as an intimate insight into her life, revealing the grit and determination she holds which earned her a place as one of the most popular stars in the world.

From countless performances on stage to her iconic Super Bowl Halftime show, to the recent Presidential inauguration, her career has been, and still is, nothing short of successful.
The synopsis for Halftime reads: “Halftime serves as the kickoff to the second half of Lopez’s life, as she lays bare her evolution as a Latina, a mother, and an artist, taking agency in her career and using her voice for a greater purpose.”
