The new film arrives on Netflix in June.
The official trailer has been revealed for Spike Lee's highly anticipated new film for Netflix, Da 5 Bloods. The film, which arrives on the streaming service on June 12, follows four veterans who return Vietnam in search of the remains of their squad leader (Chadwick Boseman) and buried treasure.
Da 5 Bloods is Lee's first film since 2018's BlacKkKlansman – which received six nominations at the Academy Awards, including his first directing Oscar nomination. The legendary filmmaker is also set to direct Prince of Cats – an adaptation of Ron Wimberly's graphic novel which reimagined Romeo & Juliet in the world of '80s hip-hop.
Da 5 Bloods stars Chadwick Boseman, Delroy Lindon, Clarke Peters, Norm Lewis, Isiah Whitlock Jr. and Jonathan Majors.
