We're taking a walk on the Wexside with one-half of the BallyBoyz...
After a spot of overnight teasing, Hot Press is delighted to bring you the video premiere of 'One', the new tune from Spaceman Steve who together with his brother Dee The Antisocial makes up Wexside hip hoppers The BallyBoyz.
Low on budget but big on eye-catching images, it's a great piece of film from an artist who gets the visual side of things.
One of the acts featured in our recent Irish hip hop special - it's the issue with Niall Horan looking all sartorially elegant on the front - The BallyBoyz have released three singles to date and caught the ear of New Machine, the fellow Wexsider living in London who's collaborated with the heavyweight likes of Plan B, Maverick Sabre and Joey Bada$$. Smart, hard-hitting and at times very, very funny, the BallyBoyz are working overtime during the Covid-19 lockdown on new songs and vids.
"We have plenty of fresh content to provide in the coming months including an animated video featuring Bizarre from the multi-platinum selling group D12," says Steve.
In the meantime, enjoy the BallyBoyz's latest creation, which old fellas that we are reminds us a bit of David Bowie's The Man Who Fell To Earth with a spot of Cold War-era Hazmat suit chic thrown in for good measure.
