The chef will explain why he believes vegans are wrong about Irish farming and the chart-topping band will be in the studio for an exclusive performance of their new single.
This week's Late Late Show line-up will include Michelin-starred chef Richard Corrigan and chart-topping Irish band Kodaline. Corrigan will discuss why vegans are wrong about Irish farming, according to RTÉ, and Kodaline is slated to perform their new single, 'Wherever You Are.'
Corrigan is famous for his successful restaurants in London and Ireland, but perhaps even more well-known for his loud, outspoken personality. His comments have spanned past the realm of culinary expertise, even contributing to some RTÉ discussions about Brexit (which he is also reportedly discussing on the Late Late Show).
He is also no stranger to vegan criticism. He complained that the "millennials have taken over" after a vegan pie was crowned Supreme Champion at the British Pie awards last March. "Please, please, I'm going to cry," he said. However, the pie was praised lavishly by judges. Corrigan's comments about veganism come as the fully-plant based diet reaches new heights of popularity around the world. Many are discussing and making the lifestyle change due to environmental and ethical reasons.

Kodaline's new single 'Wherever You Are' will be released tomorrow. They made headlines in 2019 with a successful slew of gigs -- including two nights in St. Anne's Park, a spot at Electric Picnic and a tour in Asia. Hot Press talked to the band last year about their growing success and first-time journey to Asia.
This week's line-up will also feature legendary Irish actress Brenda Fricker, a performance from Stockton's Wing, a remembrance of broadcaster Larry Gogan who passed away this week and local election candidate Becky Loftus Dore speaking on why she became a surrogate for her friends.
