The fashion month has just ended. We have carefully watched all the shows in New York, London, Milan and Paris and now we are finally ready to unveil the 4 best fashion trends that we will wear for the Spring/Summer 2018 season.
Animal Print
Animal print is back, according to Balenciaga, Christian Dior, N ° 21, Saint Laurent, Stella McCartney and Versace, in countless different versions: photographic, drawn or jacquard. Try treating animal print like any black item in your wardrobe by adding a little leopard to any outfit. Black, white or denim upgrades and harmonises a look that looks flashy and luxurious. Chloé, Mugler and Salvatore Ferragamo, prefer to use the image of the snake, colored or in natural, micro or macro tones. The tiger is the animal of choice for Prada and Roberto Cavalli, one uses a manga style, and the other is stylized to the point of becoming almost abstract.

Feathers
Feathers are becoming street-friendly! This trend first started in 1925, when the actress Josephine Baker made her Parisian debut in the Revue Nègre performing the “Danse Sauvage” and wearing only a bit of jewellery and a skirt made of ostrich feathers. The look was brought up to date at Prada’s Fall 2017 show and is now a massive trend of Spring/Summer 2018. Feathers can instantly add whimsy to any look. Designers such as Lanvin and Gucci used natural and dyed feathers to add drama to their designs. You can also wear this trend on a daily basis by looking for feather hair accessories or dresses with feather prints.

Fringes
The Spring/Summer look of Calvin Klein, Céline, Erdem, Loewe, Nina Ricci and Paco Rabanne will make you sway like a Hawaiian skirt, with long multicolored and multilayer fringes that stretch across the length of the body. The more measured (but equally oscillating) are the versions by Acne Studios and Marco De Vincenzo. This trend is really cool and adds dimension and texture in all the right ways. Try to keep it subtle on skirts, barely there on dresses, monochromatic on shirts, thick on shoes, and big on earrings.

Transparent
There’s nothing more feminine than transparent dresses layered with silk undergarments and beautiful jewelry. Chiffon, organza and tulle are all fantastic materials which can make all of the runway looks of Dolce & Gabbana, Fendi, Helmut Lang, Maison Margiela and Miu Miu into reality in your wardrobe and on the streets. If you are a fan of transparent shoes, try out a pair of ankle boots with translucent heels. It goes well with mesh dresses and leather outfits, and it looks fantastic. You can also rock the look if you go for transparent chain necklaces. Also, try out translucent versions of bags in the summer colours to add some modern flair to your street style that is both practical and stylish.
