Belfast Fashion Week, the biggest fashion event in North Ireland, has launched its 24th season. Running from 26th to 29th October the models will present the latest collections. The highlight of the fashion event will take place at St Anne's Cathedral, which with her greatness will make the runway shows even more spectacular.
Fashion Week director Cathy Martin told to Ulster Life Magazine that she is excited about the colours and textures that will appear on this year's catwalk. She added: “We always try to make our shows a true example of fashion theatre. And as people move towards more experiential activities, our events allow them to really engage with fashion first hand."
The fashion event will open with a collection of lingerie by Victoria Square’s Boux Avenue as well as a Debenhams’ Designers at Debenhams showcase, including pieces from Julien McDonald, Henry Holland and John Rocha.
The shows will also include collections from several local boutiques including Lisa’s Attic Ruby 67, Cameo in Chlomo Blush and Spoilt Belle and online shops like Top Shop, Zara, ASOS & Boohoo. Fashion designer labels like Karen Millen, French Connection, Oasis, Jigsaw are some of the names which will be part of this year's catwalk programme and will showcase their latest collections. This also means the city will be alive with fashion editors, bloggers and photographers capturing the best style moments all week long.
