“That we can raise further significant funds for Medical Aid for Palestinians through the shirt at such a tragic time once again shows the power of Sports and Music when combined," Bohs COO Daniel Lambert stated.
Dublin's Bohemian Football Club has revealed that its jersey collaboration with Fontaines D.C. has now raised over €60,000 for Medical Aid for Palestinians.
The one-off shirt – unveiled earlier this month – was designed by Fontaines D.C.'s Carlos O'Connell, in conjunction with Bohemian FC's own designers. It pays homage to the Irish band's acclaimed 2024 LP Romance – featuring a line from the track 'Horseness Is The Whatness' ("I thought it was love") printed around the neck, as well as the Romance colour scheme. An embroidered hem tag features the Palestinian flag, along with the words 'Saoirse don Phalaistín'.
Fontaines D.C. and the club previously collaborated on a 2021 jersey, in aid of Focus Ireland.
30% of profits from the club's 2025 third (alternative) jersey are going directly to Medical Aid for Palestinians – whose teams are responding to growing health and humanitarian needs in Gaza, Lebanon and the West Bank.
“That we can raise further significant funds for Medical Aid for Palestinians through the shirt at such a tragic time once again shows the power of Sports and Music when combined," commented Daniel Lambert, Bohemian FC's COO. "Medical Aid for Palestinians were one of the our three partners on funds raised from our game against the Palestinian women’s team in May, their first time playing in Europe, and also a beneficiary from our screening of the movie Gaza in Dalymount in late 2023.”

Carlos, meanwhile, has praised the club for being one of the "few institutions in this world who stand strong and unyielding against oppression."
"[B]eing a small part of this club has been an honour for us in FDC for a few years now," he continued. "We will always stand with them and their values.”
Jerseys are available to order now here – but the club have stated that "orders received from now will ship in February due to massive demand."

2024 also marks Bohemian FC's eighth year of running their Christmas gift drive for children in Direct Provision – in partnership with Bang Bang, MASI and DHL. This year, the initiative raised €80,000 in donations, to fund purchasing the gifts.
