The iconic store launched their new collections in-store and in style on Wednesday evening.
Clerys second major fashion show of 2014 took place this week, officially launching their exciting Autumn/Winter collections. The first floor of the iconic O'Connell Street store was transformed with an impressive natural runway set against the backdrop of the Clerys Tea Rooms arched entrances.
"We are delighted to be welcoming our fashion friends and family into Clerys for the exclusive showcase of our Autumn/Winter collections," said Judy Cimdins, Buying Director for Womenswear at Clerys. "The selection of brands showcased this evening can complete everybody’s wardrobe. From our new exciting brands Joules, Brakeburn and Les 100 Ciels, to timeless layering collections like Masai, Desigual and Crea and fast fashion brands such as Vila, Vero Moda, Mango, Warehouse and Oasis, we provide all the latest looks for every pocket. Our aim is to keep our customers fashion forward over the coming season with key seasonal pieces that will instantly update your wardrobe.”
Top Irish model Thalia Heffernan kicked things off, wearing the first instalment from the Bohemian Rhapsody scene – a fur embellished cape by Jacques Vert worn over a floral print tea dress.
The show also featured a wonderful collection of the must-have knits for AW14, while key trends included Mary Quant-esque silhouettes and mod style that harkened back to London in the Swinging Sixties, traditional tweeds, wools and wax jackets, cocoon coats, faux fur-lined puffs, parkas and more.
