He's teamed up with Louis Copeland & Sons for a new capsule suit collection.
In a marriage made in Heaven, TV presenter and style entrepreneur Darren Kennedy and Louis Copeland & Sons – Ireland’s finest tailors – have joined forces once again to design a dapper new and exclusive men’s capsule suit collection for Spring/Summer 2015. The DK x LC collection is the fourth the dynamic duo have collaborated on, and features six classic suit styles: beautifully crafted two and three-piece suits in the finest quality Italian fabric. The quintessentially classic tailoring that Copeland is well known for, mixed with Darren’s elusive dash of debonair, has resulted in a perfectly pitched and expertly crafted collection.
Taking their lead from cutting-edge European suiting trends, the styles of each suit will tick sartorial boxes aplenty coming into the summer months and beyond. Pushing the boundaries with colour in a subtle and accessible way, the capsule collection features light grey hues punctuated by powder blue and easygoing pink over checks. ‘Notched’ lapels have been introduced by Darren this season for the first time, with broad peaked lapels and double- breasted waistcoats adding a contemporary edge. Utilising a slim block style means the look is neat, short and super tailored for an impeccable look.
Darren Kennedy said: “I’m incredibly excited about this latest collection. We’ve really moved the direction up a notch. Working with Louis is a dream and I’m involved with every part of the design process right down to the most minor styling details – from the conception and moodboard stage to the creative direction of our campaign. I’m delighted with the results and hope Irish gents are to.”
Louis Copeland said: “The DK x LC collections have been a huge hit with our customers and we expect this latest Summer collection to be really popular with our patrons too. Fusing our tailoring expertise with Darren’s exceptional eye for detail, trends and design has been paramount in creating suits that have a real point of difference for men in Ireland and further afield.”
