Ronnie O’Sullivan: The Edge of Everything will launch on Prime Video in the UK and Ireland on 23rd November.
A brand-new documentary chronicling the life of the world’s number one snooker player Ronnie O'Sullivan has gotten a brand-new trailer.
Executive produced by footballer David Beckham, the film will premiere in cinemas across the UK and Ireland on 21st November with a special live-streamed Q&A with both O'Sullivan and David Beckham. The film will then be made available on Prime Video in the UK & Ireland from Thursday 23rd November and in select cinemas on Friday 24th November.
Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Sam Blair, the film follows O'Sullivan as he faces the end of an incredibly successful yet turbulent snooker career and works to win the snooker World Championship for a record 7th time. As much of a character study as it is a sports documentary, the film examines how one of the most revered sporting heroes across the UK can function at such a high level while simultaneously dealing with his inner demons.

Featuring never-before-seen archive family footage, exclusive access to O'Sullivan's personal life and revealing interviews with both him and those closest to him, including competitor Damien Hirst, The Rolling Stones’ Ronnie Wood, snooker legends Jimmy White and Stephen Hendry.
O'Sullivan spoke about the decision to take part in the documentary. “My highs and lows have been well-documented by the media but I felt like now was the right time to do something more definitive - something that I can look back and reflect on as I contemplate retirement. Going into my 7th World Championship I wasn’t sure I had it in me but allowing the cameras in ended up driving me on in many ways and gave me a different perspective.”
