Emma Corrin recently changed their pronouns to she/they.
In an interview with ITV Granada Reports, The Crown star Emma Corrin discussed their coming out as queer earlier this summer.
The 25-year-old shot to fame last year with her Golden Globe-winning performance as Princess Diana in series four of the Netflix historical drama about Queen Elizabeth II.
Corrin has previously hinted at their queer identity; in April they posted an Instagram with the caption "ur fave queer bride" and more recently they shared photos wearing a chest binder. In July, the actor changed their pronouns on Instagram from she/her to she/they.

In the ITV interview, Corrin spoke about the importance of visibility for queer people. "My journey has been a long one and has still got a long way to go. I think we are so used to defining ourselves and that's the way society works within these binaries, and it's taken me a long time to realise that I exist somewhere in between and I'm still not sure where that is yet," they said.
"There's no fixed identity, especially for, like, people in the queer community. It's going to be an ongoing journey but yeah, I hope that [me] sharing helps people."
