The device will be available from July 12.
Fujifilm Europe have announced the launch of the instax WIDE 400, the successor the popular WIDE 300 camera launched ten years ago.
An analogue instant camera and the company’s largest, the device shoots double the width of the mini film, making it ideal for group shots and landscapes and allowing the photographer to “capture the atmosphere of a place by including the world around the subject.”
Other new features include a self-timer, an angle adjustment accessory and a close-up lens, which allows photographers to take photos as close as 40cm.

Elsewhere, Fujifilm announced a revamped instax mini LiPlay. The 2-in-1 hybrid instant camera – which allows users to print smartphone images – now benefits from the addition of a USB Type-C for charging. Additionally, the firmware update process, which previously required downloading from a website and saving to acmicro-SD, is now operated by connecting the dedicated app.
The device itself comes with 13 design frames and 6 filters, while the accompanying app has over 60 design frames for adding effects to images.
