With the launch of Bangin Foods Delivery Service, Galway City workers can now avail of Vietnamese-inspired high-quality lunches delivered straight to their workplace.
Launching this week in Galway City, Bangin Food Group are a promising new food delivery service for workers in need of a quality midday pick-me-up. With an innovative lunch menu offering a range of Vietnamese-style lunch options, from Banh Mis to fresh juices and crisp spring rolls, Bangin feels like the perfect offbeat addition for Galway’s busy bees.
Galway locals can expect to recognise Bangin Foods out and about town as the company’s delivery workers will be donning branded ‘Bangin Delivers’ bikes. While the group labels itself ‘disruptive,’ Bangin Foods is malleable enough to fit almost any schedule. Delivering directly to your workplace, the company operates throughout regular lunch time hours, from 12pm – 2pm, Monday to Friday. They also have a collection point from their shop location at 15 St Augustine Street, so options for delivery and/or collection suit a variety of circumstances.
Everything on the menu is made from scratch in the company’s commercial kitchen, located in the city, and each possible ingredient is sourced locally. Lunches are available to order via the company website now, with an app expected to launch soon.
Bangin Food Group Manager Evan O’Ceallaigh drew inspiration for the delivery service from direct-to-consumer businesses in New York and London, before deciding to bring a big city business model local with fresh, top-notch Vietnamese Street Food-inspired lunches to spruce up Galway City’s cuisine. Nevertheless, O’Ceallaigh shares that Bangin is devoted to offering value for affordability. “Which really is not easy in these times of inflation and high food costs,” he adds, “but we are going to do our very best to offer an affordably priced lunch.”
The newly launched Catering Division of the Bangin Foods company is a second trial for the modern group, which began with Bangin Noodles in 2021 in the midst of a pandemic. Since then, the company’s rebranding has led them to develop exciting new food concepts and forward-thinking ideas surrounding the future of cuisine in Galway.
