Gwyneth Paltrows plans to promote a healthy lifestyle on Netflix with her new docuseries.
Actress and health guru Gwyneth Paltrow is branching out to Netflix. Paltrow plans to take her lifestyle and wellness brand 'Goop' to the streaming giant with an all-new docuseries.
The series will feature 30 minute episodes relating to physical and spiritual wellness, as recommended by experts, doctors, and researchers. Paltrow will pop on her hosting hat for the series, alongside chief content officer Elise Loehnen.
Goop started out as a helpful newsletter in 2008 and over a decade later has grown to be the hub for all things lifestyle and well-being. Paltrow has even added her own line of food-for-you goodies which are sold on the site, however Goop has been criticised in the past for its pricey products.

The brand promotes "a modern lifestyle", just not for the everyday paycheck. With a small box of vitamins costing $90. Granted the names are cute, but definitely not worth the big price tag. The 'WHY AM I SO EFFING TIRED?' pack contains "a variety of vitamins (with a high dose of the B’s), additional nutrients, and herbs—including some sourced from ancient Ayurveda—this is designed to help support balance in an overtaxed system." For this health boast it will set you back nearly a hundred dollars for a month's supply. One month.
It will be interesting to see if the docu-series will give audiences affordable options for a healthy lifestyle or stay on brand with their boujie buys.
