From workshops to meet-and-greets, Minding Creative Minds offers the Irish creative sector an outlet for promoting wellbeing and career advice.
Minding Creative Minds (MCM), Ireland's wellbeing services for the creative sector, have announced their series of events for April. All events are free of charge and take place virtually, requiring participants to register in advance.
This month will focus on the Creative Career Recharge Series, starting on April 1 at 1pm where Sue Cullen will offer tools and techniques to maintain mental resilience during career shifts, embracing change, and staying motivated in uncertain times. Register here.
That same day at 6pm, Andrew Macklin will hold the Career Planning as a Creative workshop, where he will teach attendees how to plan and pivot their career as a creative professional, developing strategies for long-term sustainability and navigating career transitions. On April 2 at 1pm, a workshop titled Business Essentials for Creatives will be animated by Sinead O’Brien, to touch on the fundamentals of running a creative business, including contracts, invoicing, time management, and essential business practices. Click here to register.
Also on April 2, at 6pm, Brian O’Regan will discuss Goal-Setting and Planning and explore setting realistic goals, breaking them down into actionable steps, and staying on track with planning techniques that work for creatives. Register here.

On April 8, at 1pm, Rebecca Fountain will dive into creating a marketing strategy to promote creative work, focusing on branding, social media presence, and effective communication (register here), while a 6pm workshop with Joanne Ryan will focus on various funding opportunities available for creatives. Wrapping up the Creative Career Recharge Series on April 9 at 6pm, Sue Cullen, Andrew Macklin, Sinead O'Brien, Brian O'Regan, Rebecca Fountain, and Joanne Ryan will offer a Q&A session, for which you can register here.
Finally, MCM is set to hold its monthly Meet & Greet on April 28. The monthly session offers a space for creatives and artists to learn from each other's experiences, opening important conversations with their peers in an effort to revive the arts sector. Register here.
