From workshops to meet-and-greets, Minding Creative Minds offers the Irish creative sector an outlet for promoting wellbeing and career advice.
Minding Creative Minds (MCM), Ireland's wellbeing services for the creative sector, have announced five events for December and January. All events are free of charge and take place virtually, requiring participants to register in advance.
On December 2, creatives will be able to enjoy an evening dedicated to calm, relaxation, and self-reflection with the Festive Doodling workshop, held by Lucy Hyland. Register here.
On December 4, Sinead O’Brien will offer the Everybody hurts – Building Resilience workshop. exploring the realities of the industry and developing coping tools to stay strong and inspired. Register here.
On December 5, Ruth Meehan will guide a workshop on journaling techniques based on the hero and heroine’s journey. These practices are designed to help you unblock, connect, and start an ongoing dialogue with your creative self. Register here.
December 16 will be dedicated to Minding Creative Minds’ monthly meet and greet. The monthly session offers a space for creatives and artists to learn from each other's experiences, opening important conversations with their peers in an effort to revive the arts sector. Register here.
Finally, on January 8, Ian Shirpley will dive into the question of selling and licensing creative work, and everything that involves transferring certain rights to intellectual property in exchange for compensation. Register here.
