What’s your favourite thing about Ireland?
I would have to say the food quality after the obvious one (the people). Whenever I travel and I’m tasting foreign dairy products, I cannot help but compare it to what we have in Ireland – it’s just the best. Butter on toast with a drizzle of honey is one of my favourite comfort snacks and Irish butter is simply elite. I had a roommate from Chile back when I lived in Germany and she told me her family spent €7 to buy a tub of Kerry Gold in their weekly shop. That just proved my point.
Your favourite Irish town?
It would have to be a tie between Malahide and Dingle. Both give me a safe and enchanting feel and I’m always happy whenever I’m there.
Best view in Ireland?
My sister’s godparents brought us up to Malin Head one weekend. It’s the most northern part of Ireland. We walked around the coast and had amazing weather for it. The views were so beautiful!
Your favourite restaurant?
I don’t eat at restaurants often, but when I do, I always go back to FX Buckley. It’s a real treat every once in a while and the rib eye steak and chips are unmatched.

Best bar in Ireland?
Me and my girls love going to Doyle’s on College Street. Now, we’d be sipping on wine not pints, but we always manage to find a cosy corner in the midst of the electric atmosphere and stay chatting for hours.
Best weekend retreat?
Cabü cabins in Cavan. It’s the perfect bubble for a weekend away with your loved one. We did a big food shop before and indulged in chilling by the fire, hot tubs and cosiness after spending the day walking and cycling. It was bliss.
What’s your favourite shop?
Dubray Books, but not for the reason you’re thinking… They sell my favourite Irish candles, Eau Lovely Dublin, so I’m a returning customer for my monthly candle purchase. I always light the candle whenever I’m manifesting or goal setting.
What’s your favourite place to swim?
I don’t swim unfortunately.

Favourite Irish building?
I’m a Dublin girl through and through, so I would have to say Dublin City Hall. When I picture Dublin, I always see Parliament Street, and Dublin City Hall is at the centre of it. I saw the interior for the first time last year and it was just beautiful.
What do you recommend to tourists?
I would book the daytrips outside of Dublin – that’s what I do when my American cousins are over. We took daytrips to Wicklow, Galway City etc and just spent the day walking, eating in wholesome pubs, and chatting to as many people as possible. That’s where you get that authentic Irish feel.
