The rapper is already awaiting trial on previous charges, and has categorically denied any claims of sexual abuse.
Rapper Sean Combs, also known as P Diddy and Puff Daddy, faces sexual misconduct claims from 120 new accusers.
Houston lawyer Tony Buzbee, representing the claimants, has said he expects lawsuits to be filed within the next month.
Of the 120 accusers, 60 were male and 60 were female. 25 of them were children at the time of the alleged offences, including one who claims he was abused aged nine.
Allegations against the rapper cover a period from 1991 to this year.
Speaking at a news conference, Mr Buzbee said: “This type of sexual assault, sexual abuse, sexual exploitation should never happen in the United States or anywhere else.

"This should have never been allowed to go on for so long. This conduct has created a mass of individuals who are injured, scared and scarred.”
According to Mr Buzbee, the majority of the lawsuits are expected to be filed in New York and Los Angeles. He noted that other cases are still being reviewed, further to the 120 accusers.
Combs’ lawyer has stated in response to the latest allegations that he "cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus". Combs is currently awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges.
Erica Wolff stated: “Mr Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors.
"He looks forward to proving his innocence and vindicating himself in court if and when claims are filed and served, where the truth will be established based on evidence, not speculation."
P Diddy is facing several other lawsuits filed in the last year. Combs has also pleaded not guilty to racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking.
He has been imprisoned without bail at the Metropolitan Detention Centre in Brooklyn, New York, since September 17. He pleaded not guilty to charges that he used his “power and prestige” to incite what have been allegedly dubbed “Freak Offs”, whereby he would induce women into drugged-up sexual performances with male sex workers.

His lawyers offered a $50m bail package which would place P Diddy under house arrest at his Florida mansion with strict limits on visitors and GPS monitoring. However, all applications for bail have been denied.
