The Irish rowers will be joined by Romania and reigning world champions the Netherlands on the podium.
Irish rowers Phillip Doyle and Daire Lynch have won a bronze medal in the Olympic Mens double sculls final.
Romania took home gold, while the Dutch took home the silver medal.
The tightly contested competition also saw Spain, USA, and New Zealand row.
The final saw a tailwind behind the boats, which propelled them to even faster times.
The pair wowed in the semi-finals after they posted the fastest time 6:13.14, finishing marginally quicker than the Dutch- the reigning world champions' time of 6:13.60.

It will also mark the first Olympic medal for Tipperary native Daire Lynch, who also has a bronze medal from the 2023 World Championships, which he won in the double sculls with Doyle last year.
The Banbridge man Phillip Doyle is also a fully qualified medical doctor, and previously rowed at the Tokyo Olympics, where he failed to reach the podium.
