Ashley Graham, the 29-year-old star and model from Nebraska, who walked for the plus-size fashion line Addition Elle at New York Fashion Week this season, called out Rihanna for her lack of representation of plus-size models in her recent Fenty x Puma show.
Ashley Graham is a role model for the curvy women of the world, Rihanna, on the other hand, is more of an influencer through her music and her work as a designer than as a supermodel. The fact that Rihanna did not feature any plus-size models in her Fenty x Puma Fashion Show disappointed her celebrity colleague. Ashley Graham was able to see everything very carefully during the show, and she did not like what she saw at all! In the exclusive new fashion pieces presented by the singer, only classical, skinny models strolled across the catwalk. Needless to say, Ashley Graham was not pleased.
'It’s funny to me because I’ll look at runways and think, "I'd look so great in those clothes" or "I know curvy women who would look so great in those clothes,' she said in an interview for Yahoo Beauty.
As a voice of curvy women, she would have been delighted if Rihanna had not only paid attention to the skin color of her models but also had taken her measurements into account.

'I was at Fenty last night, and that was an amazing show. But how dope would it have been to see some curves on the runway?' she explained.
Ashley went on to say that she was a fan of the singer's latest collaboration, but she wished there was more diversity on the runway.
