Natalie B. Coleman studied fashion at Limerick School of Art & Design received an MA at Central St. Martins, London. She has worked for such labels as threeASFOUR New York and Ragna Frodadottir, based in Iceland. She went on to establish her own womenswear label NATALIEBCOLEMAN in 2010. It has now expanded into silk scarves, leather bags, purses and swimwear.
Natalie creates beautiful, fun, flirtatious looks. She pays special attention to finish, fabric and detail. She has shown at Berlin, Copenhagen and Amsterdam Fashion Weeks as an invited guest. Her work has, in addition, been showcased at Milan and Paris Fashion Weeks. and She presents her fifth collection S/S13 ‘Sarah’s Suitcase’ in Paris during September.
Natalie has been awarded The Golden Egg Innovation Award for Designer of The Year 2012, The National Designer of the Year 2012 by Image magazine at Kerry Fashion Week and The Future Maker Award 2012 from the Crafts Council of Ireland. Her label has been featured extensively in magazines and periodical’s both nationally and internationally such as Harpers Bazaar, Dutch Vogue, Glamour, Company and Marie Claire.

Natalie has dressed Irish stars such as Kathyrn Thomas, Sharon Corr, Charlene McKenna and Laura Whitmore. She’s also making a serious name for herself among musicians, with artists like the amazing MaryJ Blige, PJ Harvey, Esperanza Spalding, Marina and The Diamonds and many others sporting her designs.
Natalie’s designs featured in the Rick Ross’ ‘Amsterdam’ music video from the No.1 Album God Forgives, I Don’t. More recently, Kid Karate let Natalie use their music in the film teaser for her Autumn/Winter 2013 collection.
Explaining the inspiration behind her latest collection, Natalie says that she drew from “the idea of hosting a smashing party, a few people getting together putting on some music and breaking a lot of stuff! A kind of release. So the prints evolved from that and became these cubist exploding bull patterns. The leathers are mostly lambskins and are pop coloured with Hopperish hotel references thrown in - I was spending a lot of time with work in hotel lobbies and the colours are all so similar.”
