In this fortnight's tech review we take a look at the new Samsung Galaxy Note 10.
Samsung’s Note 10 draws inevitable comparisons with its big brother, the Note 10 Plus. But while this device is cheaper, it’s also smaller and lighter. If you’re looking for a phone that fits in your pocket without fuss, it might be the option for you.
The Note 10, with its 6.3” 1080p display, spews up great pixel density for browsing and gaming. There’s a stereo speaker set, which uses the earpiece as a separate speaker. The lack of a headphone jack hits a bum note, and unlike the Note 10 Plus there’s no expandable storage – even if you do have 256GB to tinker with.
The onboard S Pen recognises handwriting, and you can draw silly moustaches on people tracked by the camera with AR Doodle. The Pen works as a remote for the camera as well. To be honest, it’s easier to just ask someone else to take the shot. A triple camera set up rounds off the Note 10. It may not be a Plus, but that isn’t necessarily a minus.
