New Girl and She & Him star partners with top designer to create 1960s inspired collection
Vintage loving Zooey has worked with Hilfiger to create a 16-piece capsule collection titled From Tommy, to Zooey.
The collection primarily features dresses in nautical red, white and blue. '60s mod shapes including boxy a-line skirts feature heavily and are reminiscent of the signature styles of Twiggy, Jean Shrimpton and Pattie Boyd. Fittingly, Zooey herself has coined the term Modical to describe the collection.
Though certainly retro, the fabrics, the rich, bright colour scheme and Tommy Hilfiger's tailoring give it a little modern twist.
From Tommy, to Zooey is is both cool and cute - reflective of Zooey's own personal style as well as the classic Tommy Girl aesthetic.

Hilfiger's own Spring 2014 collection is all about super-cute florals and playful colours - even more in keeping with Zooey's personal style than the capsule collection.
Zooey released her third album as one half of the folk duo She & Him along with M. Ward last year. 2013 also saw her star in and produce the third series of hit sitcom New Girl and guest star in The Simpsons. The artist currently known as Prince is set to cameo in New Girl soon. The show is broadcast on RTE2 Mondays at 9. Actress, singer-songwriter, television producer and now designer, Zooey Deschanel is also the co-founder of hellogiggles, a community website for girls covering everything from DIY and beauty to feminist issues. Word is, Zooey has even written a script for a film she wants to star in herself. Let's forget her manic pixie dream girl media persona for a second - Zooey is a smart, savvy lady. Ms. Deschanel is so accomplished we have to wonder - Is there anything she can't do?
