The record will be out digitally on August 30.
KNEECAP have announced their eponymous film’s soundtrack, set for digital release on August 30. The vinyl's release date is yet to be announced.
Titled KNEECAP: Music From The Motion Picture, the record features tracks from the hip-hop band, as well as Fontaines D.C., Bicep and Orbital, alongside the original score from Mikey J and dialogue from the film.
Earlier this month, the film was selected as Ireland’s Oscar entry for Best International Film, after winning the NEXT Audience Award at Utah's Sundance Film Festival in January, and becoming the first Irish-language title to ever premiere at the festival.

"Since the start of the year when Kneecap premiered in Sundance,” director Rich Peppiatt commented at the time, “we've been humbled by the grá the film has received around the world. But nothing hits quite like the reception we've had at home in Ireland.
"To get the opportunity to represent our nation on the biggest film stage of them all is an absolute privilege. Míle Buíochas to IFTA and everyone who's been part of and supported our wee film."
Speaking of the film in Hot Press’ most recent cover story, Móglaí Bap explained: “When we talked to the director, Rich Peppiatt, about his vision for the film, it was Trainspotting and Amélie he kept referencing because they’re both very choppy and fast with lots going on. For us, the storytelling side of things was massive and is what we’ve been doing ever since KNEECAP started.”
KNEECAP’S Fine Art album, and the Kneecap movie, are out now. You can pre-order KNEECAP: Music From The Motion Picture here.
