The trio's upcoming Irish tour also includes shows in Killarney, Cork and Belfast.
Having already sold out an impressive four nights (October 28–31) at Vicar Street in Dublin, KNEECAP responded to the phenomenal demand by announcing a fifth and final date (November 1) – which sold out in just nine minutes this morning.
"Grma to the 8,000 fenians coming," the Belfast trio wrote on social media in response. "See yis all soon x"
The gigs follow the release of KNEECAP's album, Fine Art, earlier this summer. Produced by Toddla T, the LP was named Hot Press's Album of the Month, and debuted at No.2 on the Irish charts.
This year also saw the recent Hot Press cover stars release the acclaimed KNEECAP film – inspired by their origin story, and starring Móglaí Bap, Mo Chara and DJ Próvaí as themselves. It premiered at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival, where it won the NEXT Audience Award.
In addition to the Vicar Street gigs, KNEECAP are gearing up for headline shows at the Gleneagle INEC Arena in Killarney on October 27, Cork City Hall on December 19, and the SSE Arena in Belfast on December 21 – as well as a tour of England, Scotland and Wales in October and November.
