The tour was set to begin in October. Now, however, all fans who bought tickets are set to receive a full refund. The band has yet to give any reasons for the cancellation of the 14-date tour.
American musical duo 100 Gecs have announced the cancellation of their upcoming tour in the U.K. and Europe. This includes their Dublin show at the 3Olympia Theatre, which was due to take place on Tuesday October 24 this year.
Fans learned the disappointing news through ticket operators, who broke the news that the concerts would not be going ahead, and that ticket holders could expect refunds in the next few days. The band themselves have yet to make an announcement about the cancellation of their European tour, with no word from them yet on any form of social media.
Many fans took to social media, expressing their disappointment at the cancellation of the October shows.
One disappointed fan on twitter wrote: “All of 100 gecs show in Europe got canceled... I am in pure pain”, while another wrote: “Why would 100 gecs cancel their whole tour without saying a single word about it, I didn't even get an email, I had to check the ticket on the ticketmaster app”

The duo, made up of Dylan Brady and Laura Les, were touring to support the release of their most recent LP 10,000 Gecs. Their Dublin show was one of a 14-date run across the continent, and in the UK. They were due to play 6 U.K. shows, as well as shows in Germany, The Netherlands, France, Italy and Belgium.
The band most recently appeared in Ireland last year, playing the Rankin's Wood stage at Electric Picnic.
