Morrissey's greatest solo hits on vinyl
Originally, The Best of Morrissey, a collection that brought together the singer-lyricist's most memorable work as a solo artist up to that point, was released on CD in North America only. Now Parlophone revisits the compilation and will release it as a double-LP vinyl set on August 30th.
Morrissey surpassed the commercial success of his former band The Smiths after he launched a solo career in 1988. His debut album Viva Hate not only reached number 1 on the UK album charts but also was certified gold in both England and the US. The Best of Morrissey includes two key tracks from the iconic record: 'Everyday Is Like Sunday' and 'Suedehead'.
The compilation also features hits from the follow-ups Bona Drag (1990), Your Arsenal (1992), Vauxhall And I, Kill Uncle (1994) and Southpaw Grammar (1995) as well as Maladjusted (1997).
