The garage noisemakers released their newest single last week followed by a cinematic music video ahead of their Ireland & UK tour.
Rising Irish rockers the Sprints have been hard at work making a name for themselves in the scene this year, with their newest single ‘Literary Mind’ reeling in further intrigue for the Dublin four-piece. The accompanying music video, directed by creative director and photographer Niamh Barry.
Released on August 31 via Nice Swan Records, the single is produced by Gilla Band’s Daniel Fox.

The track proves both cathartic and harmonious, while retaining that Sprints punk-rock punch. Fox’s hand adds a layer of depth to their already voracious sound. On the come up, the band has released two EPs so far since their formation – 2021’s Manifesto and A Modern Job, released earlier this year.
2022 has been a turning point for the Sprints. They covered Wet Leg’s viral single ‘Chaise Lounge’ earlier this year to resounding applause, then went from playing SXSW and The Great Escape to supporting Liam Gallagher and performing at Glastonbury in the same week. Recently the Dubliners took on the Mind & Body stage at this weekend’s Electric Picnic.

The Dublin punk group will play their biggest headline show to date at The Dome in London on October 13, followed by a hometown headline show at Whelans on October 22 to top off their Ireland & UK tour (you can purchase tickets here through the band website).
