Kilkenny electronic-pop duo 49th & Main have announced their biggest Irish show to date at Dublin’s 3Olympia Theatre for the bank holiday Sunday, February 2, 2025.
Since forming four years ago, the pair have enjoyed a formidable rise, earning 105m streams, Choice Prize nominations and slots at some of Europe’s biggest festivals, including Glastonbury in 2022.
Facing significant obstacles as of late, with Ben O’Sullivan being diagnosed with aplastic anaemia last year, a rare blood disease which impacted bone marrow function and left him chronically fatigued and prone to infections.

Now in full recovery, the band have announced their biggest tour yet including an appearance at London’s 1500 capacity Outernet venue.
This follows their Rankins Wood set at Electric Picnic festival 2024, which brought over an audience of over 7,000 people, and was described by Hot Press as “a masterclass in genre blending, combining indie pop with elements of dance and funk, but never committing to one sound.”
Tickets to 49th & Main’s February 3Olympia show sell from €22 and go on sale Friday August 30 here.
