Following a string of UK shows, the Kilkenny duo will make their triumphant return to Ireland.
In the run-up to their highly anticipated December tour, 49th & Main continue to emerge as one of the country's most captivating streaming sensations.
Taking to Twitter earlier this week, the pair revealed that they had clocked up 1,000,893 listeners this month alone – a 9% rise from the previous month – questioning, "how is this even possible..."
Their monthly listener count on the streaming service is currently 1,012,151.
Hailing from Kilkenny, the duo have continued to make major waves internationally – selling out their first headline shows six months in advance, clocking up over 40 million streams, and playing massive sets at Glastonbury, Electric Picnic and more. Last month, 49th & Main also sold out their London headline show in a matter of minutes.
In December, they set off on The Underqualified Tour – which, following a string of UK dates, includes shows at Cyprus Avenue, Cork (December 15); Monroe's, Galway (16); Dolan's Warehouse, Limerick (18); Limelight 2, Belfast (21); and a sold-out show at The Academy, Dublin (23).

Last month, 49th & Main returned with a brand new single, 'Believe In Love' – their first release since their debut EP, Must Be Nice, which was released in September via Counter Records, an imprint of Ninja Tune.
"We wrote ‘Believe In Love’ off the back of our latest EP ‘Must Be Nice’, we wanted to make something fun with the intention of bringing it to our end of year live headline shows," says 49th & Main's Paddy King. "The aim will be to unite and uplift the crowd, and for fans new and old to celebrate the incredible whirlwind of a year we've had all together."
"As soon as I heard the sample I knew I had to build a track around it," adds the other half of the duo, Ben O'Sullivan. "Look, it took a good while and the song itself has been through more iterations than a horse has hair but it got there in the end and it turned out pretty great if we do say so ourselves!’
