Ben O'Sullivan and Paddy King (49th & Main) will drop BOATS on June 30th via Counter Records.
Kilkenny duo 49th & Main have announced their nine-track new mixtape BOATS with new single 'Icy' today. The project arrives at the end of June via Counter Records.
Following on from 'Crash and Burn' and 'Said Nothing' with SKYLER, the infectious new single infuses elements of dance, indie-pop and soulful R&B to create a smooth summer anthem.
Kicking off with a piano melody before brass sections fill out the textures, the lyrics reference a hot-and-cold romantic connection you just can't quit.
Check out the announcement below, complete with a jumpscare of Trent Alexander-Arnold booming *insert Scouse accent here*: "AH DON'T MAIND IH".

'Crash and Burn' marked the Irish duo’s first release since 2022 single, ‘Believe in Love’, released via Ninja Tune imprint Counter Records. Having released their debut EP Must Be Nice in 2022, their second offering will presumably build upon their stratospheric progress.
Hailing from Kilkenny and looked after by the same management company that has the A-list likes of Slash and Lionel Richie on its books, Ben O’Sullivan and Paddy King have amassed over 22.3 million Spotify plays with their lo-fi ‘Catching Eyes’ banger.
49th & Main recently performed at Hot Press’ LIVE@ALOFT gig where Ben O'Sullivan and Paddy King wowed the crowd with a charming performance full of high-energy tunes.
