A Chore

Mysterious London-born multi-instrumentalist Tom Vek makes a truly wonderful mess on 'A Chore', the first single to be taken from his long, long, long-awaited second album Leisure Seizure (he's been intermittently trending on Twitter for four weeks, for christsakes!) Spilling over with busy synths, distorted riffs and demonic percussion, 'A Chore' will undoubtedly be met with a universal sigh of relief. His experimental alt. rock won't be slipping into the mainstream just yet, but we reckon Vek is a very likely candidate for heir to James Murphy's dance-punk throne. Guess you just can't keep a good recluse down.
