The four track record will come out on October 18.
A Lazarus Soul have announced their new four track EP Wildflowers, set for release on October 18.
The band will also be playing a headline gig in Dublin’s Vicar Street on October 26.
The upcoming record contains four outcasts from the no.1 independent album No Flowers Grow In Cement Gardens, featuring three brand new tracks and an alternative take of the song ‘Wildflowers’.
The album was rated a 9/10 by this very publication, and was crowned Hot Press’ Album Of The Month in July, writing that the ten songs possessed “the fire and punch of a long-caged animal, freshly released.”

On top of the release, the band also announced a limited edition “black & amber” re-pressing of the 2019 album The D They Put Between The R & L on December 13. It will feature a colour record in half black and half amber along with the original cover designed by Ethiopian artist Sisay Teshome.
Speaking of the rerecording of ‘Wildflowers’, Brian Brannigan says: "I spent more than a year, on and off, writing the lyrics for 'Wildflowers', but I felt the band version drowned out the song.
“Now I think I may have made a mistake, but it feels very 'Sparklehorsey' to put out a different take as a single. I love this take now. Sometimes what you remove is as important as what you leave on a record.”
