Musical shapeshifter Daithi has a cracking new release out in the shape of single ‘Chameleon Life’...
Things are heating up for Galway producer Daithí. And we’re not talking about the sun. He’s conquering pubs and festivals, showcasing his talent as a fiddler and pumping out banging studio productions. New single ‘Chameleon Life’ has dropped on Sony Records. Daithí hooks up with Irish-born, London-living vocalist Raye for this summer-tinged slice of electronic pop. Daithí has supported Todd Terje, DJ Shadow, De La Soul and Ryan Lewis. You may remember him from TV show It Must Be The Music. Check out the ‘Chameleon Life’ video on YouTube, directed by Cork’s Brendan Canty and Conal Thomson. And watch out for Daithí’s upcoming album, out soon on Sony.
Heads up Mayo – Westport Festival takes place on June 29 and 30 in the grounds of Westport House. Daithí is confirmed alongside Not Squares, Le Galaxie and Squarehead. Full line–up and ticket info at westportfestival.com
