If you haven’t succumbed to the considerable charms of the Hidden Cameras and their splendid The Smell Of Our Own album yet, then it’s a little hard to see ‘A Miracle’ changing your mind. Not because this sweet and simple tune is a bad record, far from it, but because it’s not exactly obvious where you’ll get to hear a song that retells the visitation in a gay context with lyrics like “I’m made an animal by his love and to bear his baby”. Just buy the album anyway, trust me.
