In a busy year for Björk, she will also act in Robert Eggers' upcoming film The Northman which was shot in Ireland.
Björk has revealed that she's in the final stages of recording for her tenth studio album.
Described in a new interview by her as a record "for people who are making clubs at home in their living room" during the pandemic, the LP will be her follow-up to 2017's Utopia.
"I'm finishing [the new album] now, and it should probably come out in the summer," she told LA Weekly.
"It's always really hard for me to describe the album while I'm still making it. It isn't until a few months later that I can look in the mirror and pretend there was a logic to it the whole time."
She continued to say that her 2022 plans will also include "swimming in a warm ocean perhaps."

Also starring Alexander Skarsgård, Nicole Kidman, Claes Bang, Anya Taylor-Joy, Ethan Hawke and Willem Dafoe, Irish film lovers may recognise areas in Donegal, Sligo and Antrim where the movie was filmed in 2020.
