The New York rapper is scheduled to headline the Dublin festival on Friday.
Days before his scheduled Longitude appearance, A$AP Rocky has been arrested in Stockholm, Sweden. Confirming the report, a Swedish Prosecution Office spokesman told CBS News that the American rapper was arrested last night for suspected "gross assault".
Three other people have also been arrested in connection with the incident, which occurred on Sunday. In a video posted online, members of the rapper's entourage appear to throw punches at two men - one of whom ends up on the ground during the altercation.
Yesterday, A$AP Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, posted videos to Instagram in an effort to assert his innocence .
He claims that the men had followed his entourage in an effort to provoke a reaction, and that the men "were slapping girls butts who passed". In a separate video, one of the men can be seen hitting A$AP Rocky's security guard with a pair of headphones.
A number of A$AP Rocky's peers, including ScHoolboy Q, Juicy J, Swae Lee, Charlie Puth voiced their support for the rapper in the comment section of the video.

Under Swedish law, A$AP Rocky can be held for up to three days before before facing formal charges.
The rapper is set to appear at Longitude on Friday, at the top of a line-up that includes Rae Sremmurd, Versatile, Flatbush Zombies, Kneecap, JYellowL, Gunna, Trippie Redd, J.I.D, Chasing Abbey, Grace Carter and many more.
He released his most recent album, Testing, back in 2018.
