The book comprises three years of interviews with author Andy Symonds about Carter's life in the spotlight, mental health issues, drug use, and Michael Jackson.
The unfinished memoir from the late Aaron Carter, entitled Aaron Carter: An Incomplete Story Of An Incomplete Life, which he had been working on at the time of his death on November 5th, 2022, will be released next week.
Comprised of three years of interviews between Carter and author Andy Symonds (My Father’s Son), the book discusses the singer's turbulent time in the spotlight and mental health struggles, Billboard reports.
It also covers his relationship with older brother Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys and his drug use. The memoir is set for release on Tuesday, November 15th.
Author Symonds revealed in a statement that "Aaron was an open book during the writing process. It's a tragic irony that his autobiography will never include all his stories, thoughts, hopes, and dreams as he intended."
Carter was reportedly found dead by his house sitter in the bath of his home in Lancaster, California at around 11am on Saturday, November 5th. His cause of death is still unknown following an autopsy, as officials are awaiting the results of chemical tests, according to the Los Angeles Times. He was 34.

Speaking about the intense pressures of fame that affected his physical and mental health, Aaron Carter, who rose to prominence as a teen pop singer in the late 1990s, told Symonds, "I remember locking myself in the bathroom of one of our hotel rooms and falling asleep in the bathtub because I needed more sleep.
"My mom broke down the door, afraid I was drowning in there," he said.
The new memoir's publisher, Ballast Books, also shared a preview detailing the night Carter spent at Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch. When the singer woke in the early morning hours, he allegedly found Jackson "crouched at the end of his bed in his underwear, apparently sleepwalking."
The preview continues, citing Carter: "What the f–k!?’ I shouted and shook him a little to wake him. ‘Go back to your bed!,'” Carter said he told the pop icon. “He looked startled, like he was surprised to be there. He just mumbled, ‘Okay,’ then got back into his bed, and we both went back to sleep. I never asked him about it, and we never mentioned it. When I woke up in the morning, he was gone from the room."
Aaron Carter: An Incomplete Story Of An Incomplete Life also includes the story of Carter performing with the late King of Pop at New York's Madison Square Garden on September 10th, 2001, and how they watched the first plane hit the World Trade Center the following day, while on the way to the airport to board Jackson's private jet.

Backstreet Boys also paid tribute to the late singer with an in memoriam video during their song 'No Place' at a recent show at London's O2 Arena.
