Eclectic Dublin r&b artist Aby Coulibaly has announced a headline gig at the Academy Green Room on 5 October 2023.

Accompanying the gig notice is her new vibrant single ‘DYWS?’, released last Friday via AMF Records.

A career in music has been a "lifelong inevitability" for Coulibaly, who struck a chord with listeners after uploading some tracks to Soundcloud in 2019.

Bursting onto the scene in 2020 with her acclaimed single ‘Taurus’, she followed the song up with ‘Long Nights’, ‘Weekdays’, ‘Where u at’ and ‘Rewind’, which received its debut performance on RTÉ’s Late Late show.

She recently shared ‘Patience’ along with a Sam Fallover-directed music video.

Regularly teaming up with long-time collaborator Monjola, Coulibaly has garnered a dedicated fan base, amassing an impressive 6.7m total listeners on Sportify.

Singing from the heart to tell compelling stories, the singer takes inspiration from her Senegalese heritage and day-to-day experiences of Dublin life to create her own distinct sound.
