The singer previously teased her album's release date at Coachella, during Arca's set in the festival's Gobi tent. While performing 'Aquamarine / Arcamarine'—a track she collaborated on with the Venezuelan producer—Rae turned around to reveal 'June 6th' written on her underwear.
Addison Rae rose to fame as one of TikTok's most followed personalities before transitioning to music. She released her debut single 'Obsessed' in 2021, followed by her 2023 EP AR, which featured several previously leaked tracks that had gained attention online.
Her breakthrough came with her feature on Charli xcx's 'Von dutch' remix, alongside producer A.G. Cook. She continued to build on her success with the release of 'Diet Pepsi' in 2024, which received widespread critical acclaim, following it up with singles 'Aquamarine', 'High Fashion', and 'Headphones On'.
