She's already beaten out Taylor Swift’s latest record in the US, with more than 500,000 copies sold in 30's first three days.
30, Adele's latest and greatest (so far) album, is not only outperforming every single other album currently in the UK Top 40 Album Chart, but has also already become the best-selling album of 2021 in the US, mere days after its release.
Since November 19th, over than 500,000 copies of the album have been sold in the US, beating both Taylor Swift’s Evermore, which sold 462,000 copies in the entirety of 2021 as of last week, and her re-release Red (Taylor’s Version) for most copies sold in a debut week (369,000 copies sold).
30 also looks to scoop the biggest opening week of 2021 in the UK as well, as it makes its way up that Top 40 Album chart. ABBA’s Voyage currently holds the record for this year with first-week chart sales of 204,000, but at the mid-week mark, 30 has already up to 167,000 chart sales.
Adele is already dominating the Top 40 Singles Chart, with the album's lead single 'Easy On Me' on its fifth week at number one in the UK, and having been only just bumped down to Number Two in the Irish Singles Chart by Taylor Swift's 'All Too Well (Taylor's Version)'.
