The record’s title track, ‘Measures of Joy’, is out now.
Adrian Crowley has announced the release of his new record Measures of Joy for February 7, as well as a string of European tour dates, including a stop in Dublin’s Project Arts Centre on April 11.
To accompany the announcement, Crowley also released the record’s title track, which the artist says he wrote in a single sitting, right after waking up: “I found myself in a state of delirious elation,” he explains.
“A kind of haywire euphoria that I just let carry me along, where everything near and far, inside and out, seemed to join in on my unhinged dance. The birds, the bugs, the flies, the wasps, the buildings, all stopped what they had been doing to take part in this unrehearsed choreography. And I laughed and laughed, long after the song was over."

The follow-up to Crowley’s 2021 record The Watchful Eyes Of The Stars, Measures of Joy is produced by John Parish and is set to be released on the brand new label Valley of Eyes Records.
