It might sound trendy as fuck, but there’s an underlying warmth, emotion and depth to this excellent debut release from Parisian Marc Nguyen.
In a dark NYC/Berlin/Shefield basement, Krautrock-ian percussion sidles up beside glacial synths and post-punky basslines stare icily across the room at austere, Suicide-esque vocals… it might sound trendy as fuck, but there’s an underlying warmth, emotion and depth to this excellent debut release from Parisian Marc Nguyen. Highly recommended.
