Today, Dublin-based R&B artist AikJ released his debut EP, 1992. Bringing influences from various spectrums of music and sound, 1992 embodies many different layers of R&B into music that's easy on the ears.
The EP is intended to showcase the development of AikJ's sound from his earlier work while still remaining in line with his unboxed vision.
Born in Nigeria and raised in Dublin, the singer/songwriter melds together influences from the world of R&B with a pop flair.
Since releasing “Suite Life” in 2016, which stormed the airwaves of daytime radio in major radio stations across Ireland, AikJ has been an active participant in the conversation surrounding the change of popular Irish music in mainstream media.

Previous releases ‘Hidden Agenda’, ‘Heights’ and recent release ‘Break it Off’ have gained AikJ over half a million streams on Spotify with Top 20 positions on the Viral Charts and other curated Spotify playlists. 'Heights' was even named the Hot Press Track of the Day back in 2017.
On July 5th AikJ released his second single from the EP, 'On Last Time', which took the cover of the “A breath of Fresh Eire” playlist on Spotify.
