'Don't Call Me Pretty' sees Aimée join the ever expanding pool of self-aware power pop.
Say what you will about Top 40, Aimée's latest single is irresistibly catchy. The Dublin native draws on funk and disco traditions, and plays on her love of nineties pop in 'Don't Call Me Pretty.'
Aimée exudes confidence and poise, singing "I hope you know/that I'm more than what meets the eye/Let me give you some advice/Don't call me pretty." The track poses important questions about the significance placed on female beauty, telling the listener that Aimée is so much more than a pretty face; 'Don't Call Me Pretty' showcases her powerhouse vocal and sharp lyricism.

"I think this song can be applied to anyone who has ever been judged on their appearance," the Universal Music signee reflects, "and has had all their other abilities, complexities and personality left unconsidered because the focus has been entirely on how they look."
Aimée recently announced a headline show in Whelan’s on 27th March. The announcement came off the back of her sold out, debut headline show in The Grand Social last November. Additionally, last year saw Aimée performed at Dublin’s 3Arena to a crowd of 13,000 at the 2FM Xmas Ball in aid of ISPCC, which raised a staggering €3 million.
