Áine Cahill has added to some of her existing shows dotted around the country this winter in Galway, Cork and Limerick by sandwiching in another performance at Whelan's in Dublin, to take place on December 12th.

The singer-songwriter's rise has been a rapid one, after firmly announcing herself into the public consciousness in 2016 with a rousing set of performances broadcast live at Glastonbury, which subsequently led to her trending on Twitter and building upon the fanfare with appearances at the likes of Electric Picnic and 2FM's XMas Ball. 2017 saw her make further strides, as she bagged a major international deal with Warner Music in London and saw her song 'Plastic' receive a nomination for the RTE Choice Music Prize for Irish song of the Year.

More recently, her powerful vocals on her single 'Beauty Is A Lie' have captured listeners' attention, racking up views and streams in the hundreds of thousands on YouTube and Spotify respectively. It's the first release of new material she's been writing and recording of late, and we're excited to see her bring it to the Whelan's stage.

Tickets for Áine Cahill at Whelan's on December 12th go on sale this Friday September 28th from Ticketmaster and are priced at €22.
