The singer has released a music video alongside the single filled with images of Palestine pre-conflict.
Cork singer-songwriter Áine O’Gorman has released her latest single ‘Till Palestine is Free’.
O’Gorman has organised a weekly vigil in her hometown of Bandon since November and has been active in the weekly Cork Palestine solidarity marches every Saturday, performing the new song live at the events before it's official release.
The singer said she was “moved to write a song about the ongoing genocide taking place before all our eyes in Palestine.”
‘Till Palestine is Free’ was recorded and produced by Conor O’Sullivan, a musician also hailing from Cork who was a member of folk band Deluce’s Patent, and international fusion band Silta.
O’Gorman announced the song in a social media post saying “It is never too late to add your voice to the millions calling for an end to this massacre. It is never too late to go to your first march or vigil or use your platform to highlight what is happening.”

O'Gorman broke into the industry with her debut single ‘Lydia’ in 2019, and then went on to release two more singles 'Weaken’ and ‘Desolation’, before collaborating with Victoria Keating on 'The Poor Ground' written about the Tuam mother and baby home.
The four singles led to her debut EP Áine O’Gorman being released in 2021.
O’Gorman wrote ‘These Empty Rooms’ in 2022 as a tribute to her late mother Margaret O’ Gorman who died 20 years ago, which was shortlisted in this year's Grammy submissions.
The singer will be releasing a collaborative album later this month.
