The tour is in celebration of iconic 1995 album Jagged Little Pill as well as her upcoming release.
Alanis Morissette has announced a European tour this autumn, including an October 1 performance in Dublin's 3Arena. She will be joined by Liz Phair.
Since 1995, Alanis Morissette has been one of the most influential singer-songwriter-musicians in contemporary music. Her deeply expressive music and performances have earned vast critical praise. Morissette’s 1995 debut, Jagged Little Pill, was followed by nine more eclectic and acclaimed albums. 'Ironic', off Jagged Little Pill, has amassed over 190 million streams on Spotify and remains one of the most iconic and recognisable songs of the 90s.
Her influence hasn't just been limited to the music industry. She's contributed musically to theatrical releases and acted on the big and small screen in productions such as Weeds. Jagged Little Pill has also just made its Broadway debut as a musical.
The tour celebrates the 25 year anniversary of Jagged Little Pill as well as the release of Morissette's highly-anticipated ninth album SUCH PRETTY FORKS IN THE ROAD, due May 1.
